Wellington Tramway Museum

The tram Museum was formed in 1964 following the closure of the Wellington City Tramway system. Seven Wellington trams were secured at that time and transported to the site. On open days you can take a tram ride with the kids down to the beach. To find the museum take the MacKay's Crossing exit on State Highway One south of Raumati.
