1 Meek Street, South Hill, Waitaki
In the 1870s and 1880s North Otago had a flour-milling boom. The Crown Flour Mills building was built in 1878 for millers J.T. Evans and Company. It was designed by James Johnston. The site is now a car wreckers but remains as one of the reminders of why Oamaru was once a boom town.
