49 Talbot Street, Geraldine, Timaru
Housed in the upstairs of the town's old Post Office since 2011, McAtamney Gallery shows the work of established and emerging, New Zealand and international artists, leaning towards modern and contemporary, and with a focus on portraiture. The gallery features several named exhibition areas, and has a stock of interesting resale works as well.
A garment retailer may be resident downstairs.
The Post Office itself dates to 1908 and is firmly in the Edwardian Baroque Style, though various coats of paint over the years have done more and less justice to its architectural features.
