Otaki Forks

A wonderful recreation area where you can stay put and use the picnic, swimming and camping areas, or take a walk of from 30 minutes to overnight. Otaki Forks is the main western entrance to the Tararua Forest Park. From here you can start on the Southern Crossing of the Tararua Range a 2-3 day tramp ending at Kaitoke.
