Abbey Cellars and The Fat Monk

Abbey Cellars, just outside Flaxmere, sits in an area called the Bridge Pa Red Metal Triangle of soils. Since 2002 this family run estate has been creating wines from vines grown in this special soil. They have already won a stack of awards.

Meanwhile, right here on the same property, the second generation of this family have started a craft brewing enterprise and brewbub named Fat Monk.
