Taieri Mouth and Taieri Beach

Taieri Mouth is a fishing village at the mouth of the river with a number of attractive fishing bachs. A reef parallel to the beach provides shelter from the sea and makes the beach safe for swimming. Fresh fish is available at the wharf and there is a picnic ground. There is a surf break here.
