Set between busy highways, Victoria Park was once on the foreshore and is on reclaimed land.
London Plane trees surround the park which is crossed by a four lane viaduct and has a four lane tunnel beneath it. The park has tennis courts, bowling greens, croquet lawns, basketball courts, an extensive skate park and a playground. It is a popular summer lunching place, with a nice short walk around the flat park.
