Two lime kilns situated in riparian strips of beech forest on Reid Stream linking to more extensive beech forest on the gentle hillslope flanking. The lime kilns, date from late 1890 (Pot kiln) and 1898 (Langdon kiln). The kilns were constructed to burn limestone for use in the building industry and for agricultural purposes. There is a marked track to the Langdon Kiln.
